Welcome to HealingWoW.com!

Chances are you’ve stumbled across this page because you’re looking for information on the ways of healing in World of Warcraft. Well you’re in luck! This site is dedicated to bringing you all the information you need to become the best healer you can be. We have information on all subjects of healing, ranging from ‘What is Healing’ to individual class and spec information so you should have no trouble finding what you need.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and this is the best place to do it. So have a browse around the site and see what you can learn.

The first thing you probably need to know is What World of Warcraft is. Learn about the game you play and the role options you have before taking the plunge. Learn about What Healing Is and find out if it’s the right fit for you. Healing isn’t for everybody so we go through the things that makes it attractive and what makes healing less appealing. We’ll go through the pros and cons of healing.

If you’re still interested at that point, then it’s time to choose what “type” of healing you’re interested in. There are 5 healing classes with 6 healing specializations (priests have 2 healing specializations) to choose from: Restoration Druid; Mistweaver Monk; Holy Paladin; Holy Priest; Discipline Priest and Resto Shaman with each one different to the other. They all have a unique healing style and though you won’t really know if you’ll like each class till you try them, we’ll try to give you an overview of each class and the way they heal so you can hopefully find something you’ll like. Take a look at our Healing Class Summaries page to get an idea of what you might like.

Once you’ve chosen your healing class, then it’s time to choose your race. Not all races can play all healing classes and race choice is mostly an aesthetic choice. It’s important to choose your class before your race and not the other way around as gameplay is more important than looks and aesthetics. Races do have different racial abilities, but these are fairly evenly matched and you should still choose your class first. If you’re not sure what race you can play with which class, navigate to our Race & Class Combinations page.

Once you have chosen your class, chosen your race, thought of a witty name, chosen your hair style, created your character and logged in, it’s time to start leveling your character. You can level up your character a number of ways, but as this is a HealingWoW site, we’ll describe how to do it while healing. To get started in general for all classes, head to the Getting Started page and we’ll take you through the first steps to becoming a healer.

We also have a comprehensive list of spells for each healing specialization and how to use them. We also go over the best talents and specs, gems, stat priorities, best professions and much more for each class.

So have a look around at the site and see if there’s anything we can help you with.

What this site isn’t:

We do not claim to be the most “cutting-edge” and most detailed information available. We’re here to help healers get started and using this information is at your own risk and we take no responsibility for actions taken as a result. You won’t find much theorycrafting on this site, as this is left to those at websites dedicated to such thing, where advanced players eventually visit. We also focus on the gameplay side of World of Warcraft and you will find little to no Lore information. We are committed to providing high quality content.

Thanks for visiting the site!
