Mistweaver Monk Spells

Welcome to the Mistweaver Monk Spells page, where we go over all the important spells you’ll need as a Mistweaver Monk healer.

We provide you with a visual icon for each spell helping you to associate spells with their icons, the name of the spell, a description for what we believe is best use, the level the spell is gained and the recommended key binding for that spell. Please note that all parts of this page are a guide only and you’re free to use a spell how you wish and key bind your spells any way you want. We don’t guarantee success through this spell use/key binding as everyone is different but hopefully it will help.

Mistweaver Monk Spells

These are the spells that provide your character the ability to keep yourself and party/raid members alive. Read through them and get well acquainted with the way they work with each other. Some of these spells will have cooldown times and some will not.

Level Gained

Recommended Keybind

This is a cheap and fast single target  heal used to top up and get your Soothing Mist rolling.

Enveloping Mist

A strong heal over time (HoT) with a long cast time and increases healing done to the target by 30% for the 6 seconds. Good for when a tank is going to take a big hit or a party member has been damaged considerably and isn’t being damaged.

Soothing Mist

This now auto-channels after every Effuse, Enveloping Mist, Vivify and Life Cocoon. Use it as a filler during low damage and as support to other heals. The Talent Mist Wrap allows you to continue channeling while moving. This is a passive effect, hence no keybind

Renewing Mist

A single-target HoT. Use it off cool down. Has a chance to proc an increased-heal Vivify.

Heals your target and 2 nearby targets and activates Soothing Mist on the original target. Only the original target receives the bonus from your Mastery.

Essence Font

A channeled multi-target heal that sends healing bolts to up to 6 targets in a radius of 25 yards and places a HoT on those targets.

An Instant, party/raid wide heal (provided they are in line of sight) and removes all disease, poison and magic debuffs. Use it after a heavy-damage phase or boss ability but early in an encounter so you get another chance to use it. Careful not to overlap other healer’s big healing spells and cool downs so as not to waste it.

Mistweaver Monk Utility/Cooldown Spells

These are spells that you are able to use once every once in a while, depending on the spell. They can help you to get out of a bind, help your raid or enhance your healing. There are even defensive spells to help keep yourself alive.

Mistweaver Monk Utility/Cooldown Spells

Level Gained

Recommended Keybind

A seriously fun spell that gets you from A to B in style! With 2 (or 3 with the talent Celerity) charges you can use it to get around quickly.

Wheel Up

Use this to bring players back to life. Only usable out of combat. Use this if players can’t be rezzed by Reawaken.

This is what you use to remove poisons, diseases and magic debuffs from yourself and party/raid members. 8 Second cool down so use it wisely.

Zen Pilgrimage

This is a spell that takes you to (and returns you from) the monk-only area where you learn your specialization, talents and you can complete your daily quests when levelling. Not a useful spell during encounters, but handy at times.

A spell for Crowd Control (cc). Use this on those attacking you or to help with cc.

Life Cocoon

A defensive cool down that can be used on yourself or other party/raid members to reduce damage. Helpful when a particular party/raid member is or is going to take extra damage, especially the tank. Increases the healing received from HoTs by 50% for the duration.

This is your new Mistweaver-only version of the old Mass Resurrection.

Thunder Focus Tea

This spell empowers your next spell cast of one of five spells: Renewing Mist, Effuse, Enveloping Mist, Essence Font or Vivify. Use it off cool down. What you enhance depends on the situation.

Use this to prepare a location to teleport to within 40 yards by placing a clone of yourself.

Transcendence: Transfer

Use this to teleport to your Transcendence Location, and again 45 seconds later back to where you came from, and repeat every 45 seconds. Good for getting to and from tight spots quickly.
