Symbiosis Table

Note: Symbiosis is no longer a spell within the game and this page is kept purely for reference purposes.

Welcome to the Symbiosis Table page! Symbiosis is a Druid spell that can be cast on any one of your friendly party or raid members that aren’t Druids. When you cast Symbiosis on said target, you receive an additional ability from that target’s class, depending on your specialization, in most cases should be Restoration. Your target (the recipient or Symbiosis) also receives a copy of one of a Druid’s spells, depending on their specialization.

Important things to remember:

  • It can only be cast on one non-druid target in your party/raid.
  • You must be out of combat to cast on a target.
  • The target cannot remove Symbiosis. It also cannot be dispelled or stolen.
  • The spell granted to your target is just as important as the spell you yourself gain.
  • Lasts one hour
  • Persists through death.

This first table shows what spells you are able to gain, depending on your specialization (which will probably be Resto) and the class that you’re using it on. Our favourites especially for dungeons or raiding are: Paladin(for Cleanse), Priest(for Leap of Faith), Shaman(for Spiritwalker’s Grace) or Warlock(for Demonic Circle:Teleport).

This next table shows what spells your target will gain depending on their specialization. We really like the spells that can really save a party or raid from wiping, such as Shadow Priest(Tranquility) or Holy Paladin(Rebirth). If you’re in a party or raid with either of these two specializations, we’d recommend going for them.

Targets with a tanking spec also receive some pretty good spells that can help them survive during heavy damage, so you may want to cast Symbiosis on one of them.
